Chapter 1: Understanding the Flow State

Have you ever found yourself riding the crest of a high-vibration wave, where everything seems to align perfectly?

I’ve experienced that exhilarating state of Flow. It’s like when a perfect parking spot suddenly opens up on a rainy day or when a lamp I was considering buying shows up on the sidewalk, waiting for me — fully functional!

This sensation can also apply to pivotal life moments, such as missing out on a business deal but trusting that something better awaits — and it often does!

However, I’m all too aware that during those gloomy days, negativity tends to pile up. One bad thought seems to invite another, making it all too tempting to retreat to bed.

Life has taught me the importance of regulating my thoughts and emotions to maintain a peak state of Flow.

But let’s take a step back. Is the control over our lives external?

What do we do when life throws us curveballs? When we face adversity, do we genuinely possess choices?

It’s easy to succumb and let life defeat us. Alternatively, we can choose to not just endure our struggles but to let them transform us into a more enlightened version of ourselves.

For instance, after what I believed was a happy marriage of 30 years, I discovered my husband was leading a double life. He left me, only to return months later while still lying about his other relationship.

This tumultuous period forced me to reclaim my self-respect and step away from my marriage.

During this emotional upheaval, I prayed for better days, surrendering to the idea that change was needed. And indeed, those better days slowly emerged.

They didn’t come all at once, but the right resources and support began to appear.

Curating Our Subconscious Inputs

For about a decade, I immersed myself in Abraham-Hicks podcasts. I even attended a workshop in Sydney, but the profound truths didn’t resonate until I hit rock bottom.

Then, enlightenment flooded in.

I adopted a daily regimen of uplifting podcasts and audiobooks that focused on self-love and care.

I became selective about what I allowed into my mind and the type of people I surrounded myself with.

Commercial television, with its subliminal messaging and negative news, was eliminated from my life.

Books that drew my interest became my new companions.

Dr. Bruce Lipton’s “Biology of Belief” opened my eyes to how we can reprogram our subconscious to overcome debilitating beliefs.

Empowered with this knowledge, I engaged in regular sessions with a certified Hypnotherapist, seeking to break free from autopilot living. Hypnotherapy proved transformative!

Additionally, I joined the Proctor Gallagher Institute. Although it was an investment, it taught me how to consciously shift my mindset to pursue a life driven by passion and desire.

Maxwell Maltz’s “Psycho-Cybernetics” reinforced the idea that we can use our imagination to reshape our self-image.

Sadhguru emphasizes that we are the architects of our lives, whether we acknowledge it or not, encouraging us to ride the current of life.

I discovered Brian Scott’s book “The Reality Revolution” and his extensive YouTube content, which introduced me to numerous inspiring authors.

Delores Cannon’s “The Convoluted Universe” introduced mind-bending ideas that reshaped my spiritual beliefs.

Richard Grannon’s podcasts were crucial in helping me process and heal from years of emotional distress in my marriage.

Now, I dedicate my days to listening to a wealth of podcasts and audiobooks, always seeking new insights.

As I grew more aware, each podcast or article revealed deeper understandings.

However, reading alone isn’t sufficient. Setting tangible goals that align with our larger dreams helps the universe meet us halfway and propels us forward.

Frequency: The Essence of Our Reality

Consider how our world operates on frequencies, from mobile devices to wireless networks.

Our brainwave patterns communicate with our bodies, influencing learning, healing, and manifestation. Achieving coherence among the heart, brain, and breath is what Dr. Joe Dispenza refers to as heart-brain coherence.

This invisible energy field brings matter into existence.

Our personal frequency communicates with this quantum field, returning to us what we project. Like attracts like; negativity draws more adverse experiences, while positivity invites joy and love.

What we seek exists at a specific frequency. By aligning ourselves with that frequency — free from resistance — we can manifest our desires.

Penny Pierce’s “Frequency: The Power of Personal Vibration” illustrates that understanding these principles can significantly enhance our ability to create the lives we desire.

Setting Intentions for Positive Transformation

When I wake up feeling anxious or irritable, it’s my responsibility to strive for a better emotional state throughout the day. I aim for my day to elevate rather than decline.

Monitoring my feelings and consciously adjusting my thoughts is essential. It involves engaging fully with my experiences while also stepping back to observe their impact on my behavior.

The key is not to dwell too heavily on our present circumstances but to leap into the future, envisioning our ideal reality as if it’s happening now.

When I enter that state of Flow, I radiate gratitude and joy, often exclaiming, “more of this, please, Universe!”

For instance, when I send a mental request to the Universe for a glimpse of Bunjil, and a majestic wedge-tailed eagle appears overhead, I can’t help but shout in delight, “yes, yes, yes!”

Expressing immense gratitude to the Divine attracts even more positivity into our lives.

Decoding Our Spiritual Journey

We’re all on a quest to understand what it means to be a Spirit navigating a human experience.

Our goal is to transform pain and loss into a deeper connection with our true selves.

I now embrace the spiritual evolution of my life. I’ve shed feelings of sadness, bitterness, and anger. Instead, I express that I’m continuously evolving.

I flow through life, aware that my world reflects what I consciously and unconsciously project.

Whenever I find myself dissatisfied with my current situation, I recognize that the change must originate within me.
