Mouse — Logitech G 303 SE — $129

In my previous review of the Logitech G 303 Shroud Edition, I remarked on its exceptional quality, which effectively ended my frustrating quest for the perfect gaming mouse. This sentiment still holds true today. While a few other mice have made their way into my collection, none have impressed me as much as this unique model.

This mouse was essentially tailored for one individual—Shroud, a highly regarded FPS gamer. He collaborated with Logitech to enhance and modernize the original G303 for today’s gaming landscape. The G303SE fits my hand perfectly from the moment I grasp it, allowing me to game for hours without experiencing fatigue.

The mouse features Logitech's outstanding HERO sensor and proprietary wireless technology, weighing in at a mere 75g, which should satisfy most gamers. The buttons are responsive and precise, devoid of the wobble I experienced with Razer's Viper V2 Pro. The build quality is robust, and my unit remains as immaculate today as it was upon unboxing. I especially appreciate the satisfying click of the scroll wheel.

Surprisingly, this mouse is more affordable than many other flagship options, despite offering comparable performance. Shroud and Logitech clearly believed in this model, and even though its design may be unconventional, I doubt I’ll find a better fit for my hand.

Keyboard — Logitech G413 SE TKL — $69

This keyboard is a fantastic performer for its price, stripped of unnecessary features. It lacks full RGB lighting and a detachable cable, but it encompasses all the essentials. It resembles a Logitech version of the many OEM keyboards available on platforms like Amazon. Interestingly, this budget-friendly model boasts superior keycaps compared to many of Logitech's other gaming keyboards.

It's puzzling why Logitech hesitates to include PBT keycaps on their premium models. Many of their highly marketed gaming keyboards come with low-quality ABS keycaps, which have been known to break easily.

The PBT keycaps on the G413SE are impressive, paired with solid Kailh brown tactile switches. Although they lack the customizable actuation features found in high-end models from brands like Wooting or SteelSeries, they perform exceptionally well.

Surprisingly, this keyboard sounds decent for a budget model from a major company. The aluminum top plate adds a premium touch that is often absent in keyboards at this price point, while the plastic body produces a satisfying thock.

This model may not appeal to hardcore keyboard enthusiasts who prefer custom builds, but it certainly exceeds many of Logitech's more expensive gaming options in terms of value.

Headset — Logitech G535 — $129 (often on sale for $99)

In a previous article, I referred to the Logitech G535 as the brand's hidden gem, and I stand by that statement. Much like the keyboard, it presents a straightforward design without flashy features but delivers exceptional audio quality.

The G535 boasts the most accurate and neutral sound profile of any Logitech headset I've evaluated. I believe it's good enough to satisfy even the most critical audiophiles. Additionally, if you prefer a different sound profile, Logitech provides a user-friendly EQ in their G Hub software.

Logitech's entry-level headsets focus on balancing weight, comfort, and sound, and the G535 excels in this regard. Its frame is simple yet flexible, enhancing its long-term durability. My unit has endured lengthy gaming sessions without any signs of wear, and it avoids frustrating embellishments like chrome stickers.

If Logitech ever updates this headset, even for something as simple as a new color, I'll be first in line to purchase it. The only enhancements I would suggest are a wired backup connection option or a removable microphone, but for now, it remains an excellent choice.

Mouse Mat — Logitech G240 — $10

I’ve never placed much emphasis on mouse pads; for years, I’ve used Razer or SteelSeries soft pads. However, while browsing Best Buy recently, I stumbled upon the G240 at a discount, which prompted me to give it a try.

The Logitech G240 is pleasantly thin, ensuring my keyboard remains stable without wobbling, and its logo is discreetly located, making it easy to cover. This is particularly advantageous when writing product reviews, as it allows me to use mice on the pad without overtly promoting the brand.

Additionally, I appreciate that it's slightly larger than most budget gaming mouse pads available, providing ample space for comfortable use.
