Chapter 1: The Journey to 200 Articles
Reaching the milestone of 200 articles feels almost surreal. It takes me back to when I aimed to read ten thousand articles. The goal was ambitious, yet I understood that consistency would eventually lead me there. Now, with over 11,500 articles read, I am still on the rise. My aim is to publish 1,000 articles over the next three years, and I'm off to a promising start. The initial phase was the most challenging, often leaving me on the verge of quitting. It wasn’t until I encountered a dedicated blogger that my perspective shifted. He shared valuable insights, particularly about how he thrives on challenges to fuel his motivation.
The 365-Day Writing Challenge
The challenge is to write an article every day for a year, regardless of whether I’m feeling joyful, exhausted, or unwell. It’s crucial to invest the same effort into writing as I would on my best days. The toughest part is resisting the urge to write just to check it off a list. After reaching a certain number of articles, the thought of publishing anything less than meaningful becomes a source of embarrassment.
How I Plan to Achieve This
- Research trending topics in software development that captivate interest.
- Write about these topics while weaving in my personal experiences.
- Focus on a balanced mix of tutorial series and articles based on industry experiences.
A Preview of Upcoming Content
- Completing the PHP Series
- Laravel Series (a continuation of the PHP series)

Do I Ever Feel Burned Out from Writing?
Absolutely. Thankfully, my family is incredibly supportive. My son believes that writing is my main job and often expresses his desire to emulate me, saying, "One day, when I grow up, I want to write books and articles like you." Such encouragement is invaluable.
Reader feedback also serves as a great motivator. One reader mentioned that my article on the C programming language helped her gain entry into her PhD program. That recognition was immensely gratifying.
Conclusion
Reaching the 200-article mark is thrilling, and I want to extend my gratitude to all my readers and subscribers. Here’s to achieving 800 more!
