Exploring My Blogging Journey: Six Personal Reasons
Written on
Chapter 1: The Drive to Connect
Blogging offers me a platform to foster connections. I genuinely seek affirmation from my readers, hoping they find value in my narratives. Feedback like, "Your story resonated with me," or "Thanks to your post, I’m inspired to try something new tomorrow," fuels my passion for writing and contributes to my overall happiness.
Section 1.1: Inviting Others to Experience India
I envision a world where individuals from outside India spend a fortnight in an Indian city, immersing themselves in local life. It doesn’t have to be a renowned destination like Agra; even a typical industrial town like Jamshedpur would be a great choice. The best time for such an adventure would be December or January, when temperatures are quite pleasant, ranging from 46°F to 77°F.
Subsection 1.1.1: Cherishing Local Produce
Section 1.2: Advocating for Vegetables
My goal is to embrace a diet rich in vegetables and become a voice for healthy eating. I aim to challenge the notion that "nothing tastes as good as being skinny" by promoting flavorful, indulgent, and nourishing food.
Chapter 2: Representing India on Global Platforms
I aspire to be a representative voice for India on platforms like Medium, where I connect with readers from diverse backgrounds, including the UK, US, Australia, and the Middle East.
Section 2.1: Resilience Through Writing
Writing and reading are my tools for resilience. I want to fortify myself against life’s inevitable losses, ensuring I can endure grief without collapsing or losing my mental stability. At times, I question whether my positive blog is a façade, fearing that another encounter with sorrow could confine both my writing and my existence.
Section 2.2: Sharing Inspiring Stories
I have a desire to highlight the stories of those who might not share their experiences online but who inspire me greatly. From my assistant Babita, who has never purchased butter, to the fruit vendor who makes lemonade from life’s challenges, and the samosa seller who generously shares his goods with those in need, these narratives deserve to be told.
As I conclude my reflections on the true motivations behind my blogging, I hope to have sparked curiosity about your own reasons for writing. If you choose to share your story, please tag me—I would love to read it!
