Engaging Narratives from ILLUMINATION Publications – Collection #40

Written on

Chapter 1: Curated Treasures

I apologize for the delay in presenting my curated selections; the Australia Day festivities had me immersed in family matters. Yet, I managed to carve out some time yesterday to revisit older stories, and today, I’m pleased to compile them for you. In the past few days, I also penned two short narratives to keep my writing skills fresh, as I felt they had become a bit rusty. Here they are for your enjoyment.

Having completed 40 collections, I find that my passion for reading often outweighs my desire to write, although I believe writing is essential for keeping my mind sharp as I age. I continue to unearth intriguing tales that I think you will appreciate. While this new collection may be shorter than previous ones, its value lies not in quantity but in the quality of the stories within. It's filled with hidden gems you won't want to overlook.

As Aiden explores new narratives, I delve into older archives to provide a nostalgic touch for our readers. Each story is a gem deserving of your attention. I encourage you to engage with them and share on social media to broaden their reach. I attempted to follow many writers I hadn't encountered before, but the platform limited me to following 150 individuals in a single day; I’ll try again soon.

Aiden and I keep in touch with Dr. Yildiz, who is busy managing various administrative duties, including the addition of 130 new writers. Despite his hectic schedule, he maintains a positive demeanor and shared a compelling story about his personal life and how he navigates publications with the help of 148 volunteer editors. His insights could offer valuable perspectives.

Today, Dr. Yildiz had one of his stories evaluated by an expert due to its underwhelming performance. While I appreciated his narrative and the clues it provided, I found that his mentor's feedback didn't completely resonate with me; in my experience, our readers often miss the nuances of our styles. I'm curious if other writers share this sentiment. I expressed my thoughts within the story.

He also discussed a significant topic regarding money and how an obsession with it can lead to unhappiness. His views on the material world align closely with mine, emphasizing altruism and gratitude.

Unfortunately, I faced a frustrating situation as my account was duplicated for the fifth time, causing further inconvenience to my readers. Yesterday, I voiced my discontent in a story. They employed sophisticated tactics to confuse my audience—first impersonating me, then altering the account name. However, I managed to identify and report the impostor. This new narrative may provide insights into their tactics and help you safeguard your own accounts.

I encourage you to share this information widely, and together, we can combat these scammers and thwart their fraudulent schemes. Your support is crucial in this collective endeavor. Thank you for standing with me against these unethical practices on this platform.

Just the day before, they cloned Dr. Yildiz's account for the third time. He provided valuable guidance amidst this chaos.

Aiden's Latest Collections

Here’s Aiden's most recent collection. He has already curated 55 collections, consistently uncovering treasures from lesser-known sources.

Aiden even decided to create a humorous film about my account duplication saga!

Readers Club: Boosted Stories

We have published our BOOSTED collection from the ILLUMINATION-Curators account.

Monthly Updates

The latest newsletter from the ILLUMINATION account is now available.

Aiden also shared it on Substack (illumination.substack.com).

We find ourselves puzzled by the inexplicable decline in visibility. I urge you to delve into his narrative to gain insights into his concerns, expressed thoughtfully in his own words.

Here's what the topic pages look like: Strategic Changes on Medium in 2023: My Adaptation to New Strategies. He used his top-performing (5%) stories as examples of what Medium desires. Like many writers, 95% of his narratives received minimal views from his substantial following in 2023.

An Interview with Tim Denning: Last year, Aiden (Illumination Gaming) wrote about Tim as part of an AI project. I believe you will find the AI's perspective on Tim quite captivating.
