Chapter 1: My Fitness Philosophy

Hey there, how's it going?

This is my inaugural blog post, and to be honest, I'm not quite sure how these things operate, but I thought I'd give it a shot. I've often compared sculpting a physique to investing in the stock market—it's all about gradual growth and reaping rewards over time. My experience has shown me that the more consistent effort you put in, the stronger you become!

Section 1.1: My Workout Routine

To be straightforward, I won't dive into specifics because I don’t want to mislead anyone or come off as promoting something. I focus on the essentials: on days when a muscle group isn’t recovering, I train another group with approximately 12-20 sets (per week) and aim for 8-15 repetitions to promote muscle growth. For compound exercises, I typically do 4-5 sets of 6-8 reps while using heavier weights. Lately, I’ve been transitioning to calisthenics.

My diet is quite straightforward. Mornings are light, usually consisting of Greek yogurt, fruits, and nuts. For my second meal, I typically have eggs paired with a carb source—though I have a slight intolerance to wheat, so I try to limit that. Dinner is protein-centric and lean, complemented by healthy fats like avocado or cheese.

Chapter 2: Indulgences and Supplements

Do I allow myself the occasional treat? Absolutely! I might indulge in a cookie now and then; in fact, my sister just treated me to a donut today!

What about supplements? I don’t rely on many. Occasionally, I’ll use creatine, but whey protein tends to upset my stomach.

Why do I put in the effort? Simply put, I've always wanted to fill out a T-shirt and show off my biceps. Why wouldn't you care for the one body and mind you possess? As a delivery driver, I often tell customers to "take care of yourself." Why not practice what I preach and ensure I take care of myself too?
